The Wilderness

Do you ever feel like you are journeying through the wilderness of the wilderness, or lost without a canteen in the desert's desert?

Time is Money

Never trust your money with someone who wastes your time, or theirs. Be extra careful if that person is you.

The Value of Time and Money

Only he who makes a daily plan, and sticks to it, understands the value of time.

Only he who wisely budgets his money, and sticks to that budget, understands the value of money.

He who cannot control his time and money, will never have enough of either.

Wisdom

Wisdom is childlike optimism married to intelligence, acting as one.

Tests

God only gives us the tests we desire to pass.

Or, more plainly: God only gives us the tests whose final fruit we most want to eat.

Relief

Relief, like a break, isn't to be waited for, but taken and given to yourself as a gift.

Fleeting Feelings of Joy

Though a little sad when they're gone, fleeting feelings of bliss and joy are given as heaven-sent reassurances, not teasers. Then again, if heaven was a movie, these passing moments are, in fact, the "teaser trailers". For they give us a gleeful glimpse of what's to come on opening day.

An Abundance of Time & Money

When you plan your day, with the true intent to make the most of your day, you will immediately realize that you have more time than you had previously thought.

The same exact thing happens when you honestly and correctly budget your money. Money will become what it needs to be for you. I discovered this the very FIRST TIME I planned and budgeted. I still see it EVERY time.

Try it! Daily planning and wise budgeting leads to (and reveals) abundance!

A New Focus

Not faith. Love!

Love is the Greatest

True love includes perfect faith.

Nap

A good nap goes a long way. Don't get so busy that you don't take the time to regroup; to be still; to relax; to nap even.

Communication

Don't ever assume what others will say. Let them say it.

Work

Work like you were being paid today.

Decide Now

Do not over analyze. Gather the information the best you can and then DO. Don't think too much. ACT.

Becoming

Pretend until you feel it. Act as though you were, until you are.

Be a Producer, Not a Consumer

Trim the fat, and produce!

ASK and Ye Shall Receive

We must Ask, Seek, and Knock before we will receive.

Daily Absolutes

As a foundation, create 3-5 daily absolutes and live them perfectly. These are not hopeful goals. They are things you have 100% control to be able to accomplish - although their accomplishment should stretch you. Mine are:
  1. Arise early
  2. Study the scriptures for 30 minutes
  3. Follow your daily plan.
  4. Plan the next day.
  5. Retire early.

My Motto in Difficult Times

Smile! and Remember the Lord.

The Secret

Keep the commandments. Do your very best. Then rely on the Lord to make up the difference, after all you can do.

Truly, this is the greatest secret.

Which part do you have a hard time with?

Quality vs. Quantity

True quality includes perfect quantity.

Peace

Peace is success.

Success

Success is peace.

I'm Sorry

I'm sorry means I love you and I won't do it again.

Drive 65

Slow but steady wins the race. This is true. Drive 65 in all you do.
